Pregnancy and Babies

Now, if you're a man and reading this, turn away from this blog entry, there is no need for you to read this and no need for you to learn anything about pregnancy's.

But my friend, Ashleigh is pregnant with twins. She is due in January/February and I am devastated that she is pregnant again so quickly. I would love to have more then just 4 children. But unfortunately I have been unable to get pregnant quickly. Yesterday I was talking with Mark and we were saying how we would be willing to take in the girl twin, Kimberleigh and pay Ashleigh's family 5,000 (our life savings) for the baby. They have more then one girl already, Abigail needs a sister. We would even keep the girl's name the way that Ashleigh wants it to be.

I know she won't take my offer so I won't even talk to her about it but I do so long for another girl, for a sister to my daughter.

Worshiping this Sunday...

I love Sunday's.  All we do is worship and it makes my week go much better (I'm ashamed to say that there were Sunday's were I did not worship and the weeks afterwards did not go well.)

Today all three boys were very well behaved and didn't need to be reminded to sit still during church.  Even Abigail was better behaved this Sabbath service.

Now that the children have gone to bed, time for my husband and I to have one more worship service before we retire.

I just know we'll have a wonderful week.

Jacob's birthday!

Jacob turned 7 last month and we had such a good time on Jacob's birthday this year. It fell on a Sunday so we didn't celebrate it the day of.  But the day before, we had cake, we watched a movie (one of the few times I let the children watch TV, the horrid thing.) and Jacob opened presents. Earlier that day, we went and delivered Jacob’s present to the old folks home. We delivered cards and drawings to brighten up the room of the men and women who don't get visitors. I say it's Jacob's present, but we set it up for him. It is important not to think about yourself and only glorify God and think about serving him and the world. Even on your birthday.

Need to catch up!

Our family has been so busy glorifying and learning God's Will that I haven't had a chance to post online.

But a quick catch up with our children:

Joshua is ahead in what was scheduled for his schoolwork, he says that he wants to graduate as soon as possible so he can go to college to earn a degree and have a good job so he can provide for his family.

Jacob had his 7th birthday and is in the 1st grade now, he is working very hard as he looks up to his older brother Joshua and wants to study the same things Joshua is.

Johnny is learning the alphabet and is loves to help with his little sister, but I don't let him, he is a man and a man must not know how to take care of a baby, I will always be around to do that. There is no need for him to learn anything about how to take care of a baby.

Abigail turns one next month and is learning to walk. It's hard to get her to stay still, I am still training her but each day has varying degrees of success in getting her to stay still and not get into everything.

Mark and I are doing well, we are raising our children to be Godly men (and woman.) Life is good.
